After a tip from Short Term Memory (thank you!) I went ahead and scheduled my Spanish test for June 25. I'm dreaming of landing on the register in time to make a September call. But I'm starting to doubt that will happen. I always thought I'd be the one with the quick clearances, but not so sure anymore.
So I'm going to have to be disciplined about working on my Spanish, despite all the excitement in the B household- visits from grandparents, birthdays, etc. That means more $$ to my Spanish tutor, who is awesome. But I should really start reading Spanish news- I just prefer FS blogs much more!
A happy belated birthday to my sweet husband...
We packed up the family and joined the Foreign Service in 2011. Currently in: Mexico City, Mexico!

Good luck!
You're inspiring me to get serious, too (what was STM's advice?). Best of luck!
Good luck!
thanks guys! STM just recommended that I schedule soon, since it is taking 4-6 weeks from the time you call. I had heard it was quick so I was going to call about 2 weeks before I wanted it. I got the date I requested, though, so all's good!
Best of luck at the test. Hopefully, you will get the max and get the call/email soon!!!
are you still in the clearance process? Mine is just starting.
:)
