Another wonderful family visit

We feel like the luckiest family in the world lately with so many visitors. This time, D's mom and one of his sisters came to visit. So of course, we headed to the beach! We went to Las Galeras again, where we went last year with my mom and my dad and stepmom. We stayed in a hotel, Villa Serena, that was highly recommended by friends. It was quite lovely, with beautiful grounds, a delicious included breakfast, lovely staff, and large rooms with balconies (if you are a couple, request room 17- the view from the balcony is gorgeous).

It wasn't exactly beach weather- a little cloudy and windy- but we walked on the beach and spent lots of time reading and relaxing. We had some delicious food (the Italian pizzeria makes delicious pasta, too!) and just enjoyed being together.
