Just counting the days until Friday when D takes the OA.
His SOI is done. His SF-86, he assures me, is done.
He's still doing case mgmt exercises. After my experience with the CM, I kind of feel that's a lost cause, but hey, everyone's different. I'm a speed reader and a great writer but I think my downfall was my wimpy advice. He's a slow reader but probably smarter and more decisive than me.
We're trying to find some time to practice SI questions and hypos. No time.
I'm looking forward to just knowing, so that we can plan the next step of this endless process.
Some sad news from a friend is diverting me from my normal one track mind trajectory. She doesn't read this yet, but I'm sending her love.
Anyway, it's a glorious spring day and things look so much better from this vantage point.
We packed up the family and joined the Foreign Service in 2011. Currently in: Mexico City, Mexico!

Uggg - the case management killed me too. I think I may have been over-confident. Somehow I thought being a good writer, fast reader and working reading pages of medical charts, talking with doctors and typing up mental health assessments in less than 30 minutes would prepare me for the CM. I was wrong - it was the only section I didn't pass. BUT, best of luck to your hubby. So excited for you guys and can't wait to hear the news!
Hi!
I think we might have taken our OA the same day. Annex 44 right?I recognize your picture...anyway..I was the musician from Florida, if that rings a bell.
Congrats on the OA! I passed too with a 5.4 in consular...I only saw one other guy on my way out, so it's good to know you and hopefully others made it through.
Good luck to your husband on Friday!

Same with me, Jodi! I thought for sure I could speed read through it and come up with a great CM memo. Ugh. I don't have any advice on that one for my hubby. Thanks for all the good wishes everyone!
Another gorgeous blog background and lots of luck to your husband tomorrow!
Darling picture, by the way! Fun to put faces with the information you've shared.
