Day two on LBI and I thought I'd take advantage of naptime to post some pics. It's funny; it took us a day to get into the groove of being at the beach. I'm a big fan, but it's so much harder than the pool when you have little ones....the sunscreen re-application on sandy legs, the sand/sunscreen in the eyes, the yucky diaper emergency, the worrying at the ocean's edge. But there's also the ocean breeze, the digging a big hole in the sand, the screeching as the water touches little legs...I love it.
We packed up the family and joined the Foreign Service in 2011. Currently in: Mexico City, Mexico!

Very nice indeed! Your kids are awfully cute!
So cute! If there is one thing to love it is the beach. I hope you guys have a fabulous time!
Oh, they are adorable! I know what you mean though, nothing like trying to get sunscreen on sandy legs, arms, etc.
Have fun!!!
aw thank you guys!!
Oh how I love the beach ... and seeing photos of kids playing in the sun!
And as a sidenote for the future... carry some baby powder with you - when you're ready to reapply the sunscreen, first put on the baby powder... it'll take all the sand off and make it easy to reapply!
