Although my heart wasn't in it at first, we devoted ourselves to the house this weekend and it shows, I think. I have 7 bags waiting for donation pickup. We organized the garage and actually made room for a car! But I don't have photos for you yet - there's so much in there waiting to be sold that it doesn't look that impressive. I went through all the kids clothes and most of mine.
I love this part- the removing all the extra stuff from my house.
It's the dealing with things that are harder to throw away that I won't enjoy.
Now that I know I have to wait another week, I am just going to keep at my decluttering plan and try to be patient. What else can I do?
We packed up the family and joined the Foreign Service in 2011. Currently in: Mexico City, Mexico!

Focus on D, M and L. Everything else will take care of itself.....
I loved the decluttering we did while waiting on the register! It made pack-out a breeze...and unpacking at post a pretty quick process. Have fun!
Good for you! I agree with Jodi, you will appreciate all you do now later when you start packing out and again when you unpack! Keep at it.
i wish i could be as optimistic as you guys. thanks for the support.
It's good to de-clutter isn't it.
I followed you over here from The Perlman Update.
